Roger Farrelly joined The Rock back in its early days in Hamilton, and has been a part of the Morning Rumble for the past 24 years. Now his co-hosts have put him forward for an experience that is sure to stand out among all the stitch ups during his career.
Roger grew up in Katikati, and now lives in Orewa with his family. His only hobby is going to the movies, and his fellow breakfast show hosts think this is a great opportunity for him to push himself and get fit.
“Rog needs a focus in his life other than radio and his family,” says Andrew Mulligan
“He's a smooth operator with shifty moves and an eye for the elegance of dance, or at least that’s what he told us so we thought we'd make his dreams (or nightmare) come true! I look forward to see him succeed on the big stage.”
Bryce Casey adds: “I just wanted to see Rog on TV dancing in heels.
A winner of numerous radio awards, one of his most recent achievements was being named ‘Hottest Radio Hunk 2017’ in Woman’s Day magazine. If his fans get behind him over the next few months he could have a good chance of going far in the competition.
