Popular TV and radio personality Sharyn Casey returns to co-host the 2019 season of Dancing with the Stars NZ, alongside Dai Henwood.
The Timaru born and bred pop culture enthusiast brings her refreshingly unapologetic and infectious energy to the screen for a third season.
On returning to the show in 2019, Sharyn says: “This is hands down one of my favourite hosting gigs. Being a part of Dancing with the Stars is always a highlight for me because it’s such a positive show, showing celebrities out of their element to raise money and awareness to some incredible New Zealand charities! I can’t wait to see who takes out the mirrorball trophy and how many deep V Necks Dai can work into the 2019 season.”
Sharyn, who is currently a host on The Edge Afternoons with Jono, Ben & Sharyn, has forged an impressive career in broadcasting spanning over 12 years.
Sharyn got her start in TV hosting Four Live in 2012, going on to host the VNZMA Red Carpet show for six years, multiple live boxing events for Three, as well as narrate the first season of Gogglebox NZ.
Sharyn is married to The Rock Morning Rumble’s Bryce Casey, who live with their one year old son Tyson, and dog Warren G.
