We are thrilled to welcome Camilla Sacre-Dallerup back to the Dancing with the Stars NZ judges desk this year. Last season Camilla proved to be a formidable force as head judge, delivering strong feedback - but always with a smile! She also took on the role as peacemaker when fellow judges Julz Tocker and Rachel White playfully butted heads over scoring.
An original cast member of the UK’s version, Strictly Come Dancing, and with one season of of the the NZ version under her belt Camilla is an expert in the format. She is looking forward to seeing what a fresh new bunch of celebrities bring to the dance floor:
“I’m so excited to be returning to New Zealand for the next series of Dancing with the Stars. Last season was fantastic and the standard was exceptional, so the bar is set high. It’s the most fascinating process and such a joy to watch them all develop and shine on the dance floor. I’ll be looking for good technique of course, but more than that, watching them push themselves out of their comfort zone and really bring their own flair and personality to the dance floor. I saw a couple of names already announced, It’s gonna be good!”
Born in Denmark, Camilla is a New Zealand Latin Champion and represented NZ for years with ex-partner Brendan Cole. Our country has a special place in her heart from the time she spent travelling around coaching others.
Camilla Sacre-Dallerup is a bestselling author of two self-help books titles: Strictly Inspirational and Reinvent Me, a life coach, hypnotherapist, and a popular meditation teacher. She is also a motivational speaker and hosts mindful and motivational workshops in UK, US and NZ and is currently working on her 3rd self-help book out in 2020.
