The Edge Breakfast co-host
Pro Dancer: Brittany Coleman
New Zealand will know heartthrob Clint Randell (or Randell) as one third of The Edge Breakfast shows much loved morning line-up Dom, Meg and Randell.
Randell, who has been working in radio since 2009, is no stranger to the small screen, having spent several years as a children’s TV presenter and dipping his toe in the acting pool with credits in Kiwi telefeatures, The Kick, and Venus & Mars.
Dancing with the Stars is not Randell’s first foray into reality TV competitions, having placed eighth on the third season of nationwide singing competition New Zealand Idol in 2006.
Will this talented entertainer be a triple threat when he takes to the dance floor in the name of charity!?
“The closest I've come to 'proper' dancing was a routine my groomsmen and I practiced in the garage of my parents house on the day of my wedding. We were meant to perform it down the aisle. The music started, we nervously all looked at each other, shook our heads, chickened out, pulled the pin and agreed never to speak of it again,” says Randell on his limited previous dance experience.
Randell is married to wife of 9 years Jaime, and father to their son Ty (2) and daughter Cameron (3), who will no doubt be cheering him on from the sidelines as he shakes his tail feather.
