Kiwis will no doubt recognise Walter Neiland’s signature grin and irrepressible spirit from an eight year run hosting Three’s much-loved afternoon kids show, Sticky TV.
His infectious energy and boundless enthusiasm lead him to forge a successful career as a TV presenter, also helping make Kiwi’s dreams come true in Three’s 2014 heartwarming series, Cadbury Dream Factory.
As well as presenting and hosting gigs, Walter is also an inspirational speaker and MC, with an emphasis on encouraging youth and young adults by instilling his positivity and passion for life.
Over the years, Walter, who grew up in sunny Nelson, has teamed up with several different charities and hosted a number of live events. In recent times Walter has entered the world of property investment, with a portfolio of high-yielding properties under his belt.
His time in Children’s TV has seen him interview a myriad of A-list celebs (from Guy Sebastian to the All Blacks) as well as put his body on the line all in the name of comedy.
Walter is certainly not one to let life pass him by - but can he pasodoble? Walter says: “Take opportunities! And back yourself!”
