What are your three favourite things in your home and why are they special to you?
Bridget: The spiral staircase, I just love it, it centers the room somehow to me. I love my kitchen, I absolutely love my kitchen and the third would be my bedroom, just sitting in bed watching that view is gorgeous!
Steve: The staircase, that worked out well… and upstairs, I love upstairs and the way the ceiling comes around it, and the third one would be the view.
What’s your top tip for people wanting to build their own Grand Design?
Steve: Don’t! Haha. I think trust yourself, back yourself.
Your build is complete now, what’s next? Do you have any new projects lined up?
Steve: It’s never complete when you do a build like this, there is always a bit to carry on, but we have also started another one, we bought a beach house and have started that...
Bridget: Yeah, as much as I just wanted to enjoy this place, I’d love to start on that place next, so that will be our next project!
