Dr Trisha Stratford - Guest Expert

WELCOME HOME TRISHA!
It must be love on the brain! Jumping across the ditch to lend a helping hand as Guest Expert on this season of Married At First Sight NZ, is Dr. Trisha Stratford.

Trisha will be a familiar face to the kiwi audience as she is currently the Clinical Neuropsychotherapist on season six of Married at First Sight Australia, and has been a part of the ultimate social experiment since its inception.

On lending her expertise to the show alongside Tony and Steph, Trisha says: “Despite the fact that I’ve been living and working overseas for many years, I’m a born and bred Kiwi from Wellington so I feel like I’m coming home. Having been a part of the Australian show for several years now there are some key learnings I’m able to bring to the table to support the New Zealand production and couples through this exciting experiment.”

In between her very demanding work schedule Trisha leads a very active life and is an avid traveller. She has her own little piece of paradise in Southern France where she loves to cycle, drink great wine and eat fabulous food.

Trisha - equipped with a PhD in Neuroscience -  has a specialised interest in the neuroscience of relationships and its application in the role of leadership, relationship and change. Her Post- Doctoral research was in isolating the creative process in the brain.

She works as a Clinical Neuropsychotherapist, consultant, mediator and executive coach in Australia and New Zealand. She has experience in hostage negotiation and has worked as a communications and training consultant to corporations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and the Pacific.
